Spring is around the corner, how many of you want to be a better version for yourself? According to Lawrence J. Cheskin, MD, founder and director of the Johns Hopkins Weight Management Center, surveys show people tend to gain five to seven pounds on average during the winter months. Yikes!
Why not join the United Wellness Connection’s Biggest Loser Challenge?
Weekly weigh-ins will begin on Tuesday March 5th and end on Tuesday May 28th. Just sign up for a time slot that will work for you. If you need a different time please register and I will contact you to arrange a time.
There will be a $10.00 entry fee per person with a required weekly weigh-in. Cash prizes will be awarded based on biggest percentage of weight loss achieved during the challenge.
Your weigh-in will be every Tuesday at your registered time. If you miss weighing-in for 3 weeks you forfeit. (Note: if you are a telecommuter, you will need to email me a photo of your feet on the scale for each Tuesday’s weigh-in.)
You will be assigned a number so you can monitor your weekly progress. A chart with the numbers and cumulative % of weight lost to date will be available through email.
Winners will be the three participants achieving the highest percentage of weight lost over the 12 week period.
Weekly tips/challenges and progress will be shared with all participnts.
